今日は、
とてもシンプルなお話をさせてください。
夢の実現に、全力を尽くす。
世界の平和と、人類の繁栄のために。
その答えは、
子どもたちの「はじまり」にある
と、私は考えています。
すべての学びは、順番から始まる
読むときは、A・B・C。
歌うときは、ド・レ・ミ。
学びには、
無理のない順番があります。
私は、
二歳児からの子どもたちに、
次の四つを、とても大切に伝えています。
おと
かたち
いろ
なまえ
おとは、感じる力です
言葉より先に、
子どもは「おと」を感じます。
高い音。
やさしい音。
静かな音。
おとは、
心をひらく入口です。
かたちは、気づく力です
まる。
しかく。
さんかく。
かたちに気づくことで、
子どもは
「ちがい」を知ります。
これは、
他者理解の第一歩です。
いろは、選ぶ力です
あおい そら。
しろい くも。
あかい つみき。
いろは、
「好き」を表現する力。
選ぶ経験は、
将来の意思決定につながります。
なまえは、世界とつながる言葉です
ここで言う「なまえ」は、
人の名前だけではありません。
あおい そら しろい くも つみき どうぶつ すべての もの
世界にあるもの、
すべての単語の「なまえ」です。
なまえを知ると、
世界は
こわい場所ではなく、知っている場所
になります。
なまえを知ると、乱暴になれない
なまえを呼べるものに、
人は、乱暴になれません。
なまえは、
思いやりの入り口。
平和の、いちばん小さな種です。
この順番が、夢を育てる

この順番で育った子どもは、
世界を信頼し、
自分を信じ、
夢を描けるようになります。
おわりに
夢の実現とは、
特別な才能の話ではありません。
はじまりを、大切にすること。
それを積み重ねた先に、
世界の平和と、
人類の繁栄があると、私は信じています。
私は今日も、
子どもたちと一緒に、
「おと・かたち・いろ・なまえ」から
言葉を育てていきます。

I believe the answer lies in a child’s “beginning.”

There is a natural order to learning.
I teach the following four things to children, from the age of two:

children sense “sound.”
High-pitched sounds.
Gentle sounds.
Quiet sounds.
Sound is the gateway to opening the heart.

By noticing shapes, children
understand differences.
This is the first step toward understanding others.

Blue sky.
White cloud.
Red block.
ABCs are the power to express what you like.
The experience of choosing leads
to future decision-making.

Names are words that connect us to the world.
The “name” I’m talking about here doesn’t just refer to people’s names.

It’s the “name” of everything in the world,
every word.
When you know names,
the world becomes a familiar place, not a scary one.

Knowing your name makes you less violent.
People can’t be violent towards those who can call you by your name.
Names are the gateway to compassion.
They are the tiniest seeds of peace.
