A Gentle App That Nurtures Children’s Goals
子どもが「できた！」と感じる瞬間は、
大人が思っているよりも、ずっと小さく、ずっと大切です。
このアプリは、
子どもが自分の「ゆめ」を話し、
やさしいキャラクター「くまのユゥちゃん」が応援してくれる
とてもシンプルな体験から生まれました。
点数も、評価もありません。
あるのは、
「きょうは、ここまで。 また あした。」
という安心できる終わり方だけです。
The moment when a child feels “I did it!”
is much smaller — and much more precious —
than adults often realize.
This app was created from a very simple idea:
children talk about their dreams,
and a gentle character called Kuma no Yuu-chan listens and cheers them on.
There are no scores and no evaluations.
Only a calm and reassuring ending:
“That’s enough for today. Let’s try again tomorrow.”
アプリ紹介｜About the App
このアプリでは、子どもが「やりたいこと」「なりたいもの」を言葉にすると、
ユゥちゃんが、子どもにも分かる言葉で言いかえてくれます。
そして最後に、こんなメッセージが表示されます。
れんがを 1こ もらえたよ！
ユゥちゃん にこにこ。
きょうは ここまで。
また あした あそぼうね。
この「れんが」は、
ゆめをかなえるための 小さな一歩のしるしです。
In this app, when a child talks about what they want to do or become,
Yuu-chan gently rephrases it in words children can understand.
At the end, the child receives this message:
You got one dream brick!
Yuu-chan is smiling.
That’s enough for today.
Let’s play again tomorrow.
This “brick” represents
a small but meaningful step toward a dream.

Instead, it focuses on:

大きな目標である必要はありません。

明日の「やってみたい」につながる。

A child’s dream does not have to be big.
What matters is that
what they did today gently leads to
what they want to try tomorrow.

About the “Yuu the Bear’s Great Adventure” App (Opal)
- For world peace and human prosperity –
The Opal app is a place where you can experience the “Yuu the Bear’s Great Adventure” series, which I have previously shared on my blog, YouTube, and social media, in the form of a dialogue.
Yuu the Bear is not there to give you the answers.
He is there to gently watch over each child, allowing their innermost feelings of “I want to try,” “I wonder why,” and “I like it” to emerge with peace of mind.
In this app, dreams are not evaluated, compared, or rushed.
Dreams are not treated as something to be “achieved,” but as something to develop.
You can rewrite them. It’s okay to change them. It’s okay not to understand them.
I believe that this freedom fosters children’s creativity and initiative.
World peace and human prosperity do not come from someone special’s correct answer, but from cherishing the dreams of each and every child.
This Opal app is not a finished product.
It is a living space that continues to grow through dialogue between Yuu the bear, the people who use it, and myself.

このOpalアプリは、私がこれまでブログ・YouTube・SNSで発信してきた
「くまのYuuちゃん大冒険」シリーズを、対話というかたちで体験できる場所です。
くまのYuuちゃんは、答えを教える存在ではありません。
子どもたち一人ひとりの中にある
「やってみたい」「なぜだろう」「すき」という気持ちが、
安心してあらわれるのを、そっと見守る存在です。
このアプリでは、夢は評価されず、比べられず、急がされません。
夢は「達成するもの」ではなく、育っていくものとして扱われます。
書き直してもいい。変わってもいい。わからなくてもいい。
その自由こそが、子どもたちの創造力と主体性を育てると信じています。
